Ship in code, not slides
I build with Claude Code as my primary implementation tool. The gap between idea and working prototype is basically zero. I've shipped a full SaaS platform this way.
Find the invisible problem
The most important design problems aren't on the screen. I dig into data, talk to users, and find the thing that's actually broken. On CardSort, 51% of studies got zero responses — the tool worked fine, the recruitment flow didn't.
Make complex things simple
Fintech compliance flows, travel commission reconciliation, AI-powered research tools. My work lives in industries where the underlying systems are complicated and the interface has to make them feel obvious.
Think about the whole system
I don't just design screens. I think about activation, retention, distribution, and monetization. Building my own products taught me that a great UI means nothing if nobody finds it or comes back.
